Lara Scobie makes ceramic vessels that are an exploration of pattern and three-dimensional form. Her work has been exhibited extensively and is held in both private and public collections around the world.

Lara is a graduate of Camberwell Art College in London, and she holds a Postgraduate in ceramics from Edinburgh College of Art. She has exhibited extensively and has received many awards for her work including Premier winner of The Fletcher Challenge in New Zealand and Honourable Mention at Mino Ceramics, Japan. Lara is a fellow of the Craft Potters Association of Great Britain and a professional member of Contemporary Applied Arts, London.
